 In 1991, Mr. Dany Tremblay, native from La Tuque, bought the Outfitter, which belonged to the municipality of La Tuque. At the age of 19, Mr. Tremblay had a multitude of projects in mind. Although he is one of the youngest outfitters, Mr. Tremblay is also amongst the most experienced outfitter, with more than 21 years of experience in the field !

Today, with his wife, Lison, they operate one of the best known outfitters in the region. In addition to 12 fully equipped cottages, they also have a pavilion that can accommodate 48 people at a time. The exclusive rights territory includes 24 lakes with brook char and brook trout. It is the ideal place to initiate you to fishing as it is possible to exercise a daily fishing as well as to take advantage of a guided fishing expedition. With 127.5 km2 of exclusive rights territory, moose, black bear and small game hunters will be fully satisfied.

In addition to being open year round, what distinguishes the Pourvoirie Domaine Touristique Outfitter, is its variety of family activities, swimming, pedal boating, kayaking, berry picking, canoe trip, will animal park, or a meal on the banks of rivers, to only name a few.

Always seeking new projects, the owners are constantly innovating. With their new construction, l'Oasis du repos, the outfitter now offers a heated indoor pool, a Nordic spa, sauna and a conference room. It is the perfect place to spend the weekend after a day of snowhoeing, ice fishing or skating, sliding or off-trail snowmobiling.
