 Windigo Ouftters is located nothwest of the city of La Tuque on Windigo River, near the St-Maurice River. In addition to being accesible by car, you can also get there by VIA Rail Canada train. Many of their clients leave the La Tuque train station on Friday at noon and arrive at the Windigo station barely three hours later where they are welcomed by the owners Martine & Daniel. An expedition that appeals to both children and adults !

Located 13 km from the Trans-Quebec snowmobile trail # 83, Windigo Outfitters is a well-know snowmobile relay. The rustic and confortable wooden log lodge can accommodate up to 30 snowmobilers at a time. The outfitter also stands out for its warmth and family atmosphere where the party is always at the rendezvous.

With two cottages, an inn and five camps, packages in Américan Plan or European Plan, the outfitter offers several customized packages. Whether fishing for pike, walleye, family holidays in summer and winter with ice fishing or snowshoeing, Windigo Outfitters has everything to suit you !

Many Quebec and Americain hunter go there every year for its abundant wildlife. The outfitter will guarantee a great success for black bear hunting and allows you to combine this hunt with pike and walleye fishing. A package that is well appreciated by customers.

Your hosts, Martine and Daniel own the outfitter for 7 years now but have been fans of this area for several years. Originally from Shawinigan, the couple had a cottage at Windigo several years and worked for the Windigo Outfitters in 1995. But it was in 2004, that they acquired the company. They settled at the lodge itself and for the happiness of all, have never left.
